You’ve Got Questions, We’ve Got Answers
If you do not have a firearm and are attending our Concealed Carry Fundamentals Class, we will have a firearm and ammunition for you to use if needed. We understand that deciding what firearm to buy can be overwhelming. During class, we will discuss what you should look for when choosing a firearm and we will help you decide what to buy.
If you are attending one of our advanced classes, you should already have a serviceable firearm, holster, and extra magazines.
Our main training facility is located about 30 minutes northeast of Gainesville at the Bradford Sportsmen's Farm. While it is a little off the beaten path, we prioritize the quality of our training over convenience and have found the quality of the facility to be well worth the drive. We're confident you will as well.
We require our firearms training students to be at least 18 years old. You can attend our class prior to turning 21 years old, but you will have to wait until your 21st birthday to apply for your permit unless you are a servicemember or were honorably discharged.
We do not have a minimum age requirement for our Countering the Mass Shooter Threat Seminars.
The Florida Concealed Weapon and Firearm License is valid for 7 years. Be sure to renew your permit prior to the expiration date in order to avoid having to pay a late fee.
Please be sure to bring your state-issued ID or driver’s license, wrap-around eye protection (safety glasses), and hearing protection (ear muffs or earplugs). Also bring your pistol if you have one, along with 50 rounds of factory loaded ammunition.
Please be sure to wear full-coverage clothing and shoes (no low cut shirts, tank tops, flip flops or sandals will be allowed on the range). The range is located a little off the beaten path, so please bring any food (lunch and snacks) and drinks you will want. Since this is Florida, and the weather is often unpredictable, you may also want to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellant, and/or a raincoat.
Yes, we accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Payments are processed securely using Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security encryption.

Yes. We do not include the range fee in our course tuition for a couple of reasons. First, we don’t always use the same range and since the fees vary from range to range we don’t factor them into our fees. Another (possibly more important) reason is that some of the ranges we utilize offer prepaid memberships. If we included a range fee in our class costs, those students with a membership would essentially be paying twice: once for their membership and then a second time to shoot with us.
Please contact us with any questions you have. Someone else likely has the same question, and we just might add it to our FAQ list!
